Personally I find it very hard to say Moderate Muslim, Jew and Christian in the same breath.
Granted whackos can abuse any teaching. BUT!!!!! a so called Extremist Muslim, is trying to follow the path of Muhammad as Muhammad would have done today. If you read what the Imams and Mullahs are saying, after all they are the authority on Islam.......... a Moderate Muslims is a apostate and a "extremist" is following maintaining the DEEN of Islam.
In the last four years (appox 1448 days) Muslims have launched 2467 terrorist attacks......... There are More Roman Catholics than all the Muslims from all the Islamic sects combined. I can not see any similarity in conduct between the two groups. Jews are less than 1/4 of 1 % of the people of the world and their contribution to Science, Nobel Peace Prizes etc exceeds that of all Muslim by many many times, and AGAIN I do not similarity between those groups.
A Muslim can not read the Qur'an only recite it. Any questioning is forbidden. It was interpreted once and that is it. See Sharia law. This is not my opinion....... it is Islamic LAW. This is also why sectarian warfare is common in Islam, Sunnis are apostates of Shi'ias and Shi'ias are apostates of Sunnis, etc.
While there are people who will justify their abhorrent actions through some sort of religious canon, It will be generally be repudiated by the their clerics and the vast majority of followers, except in Islam.......
Islam is a culture of abuse from birth to death. The first victims of Islam are Muslims.
