My brother has it and the doc's at MEPS missed it. He started BCT in June '94 and was out of the Army before that month closed out. His knee decided to do the unnatural sideways movement thus ending his desire to be an 11B.
That was quite some time now and it's best if you take it easy on the knees. He was diagnosed with a mild case and still has problems to this day. He'll walk past something and bump his knee, and it puts him down for at least a day. I'm no doc but I'll tell you that it's gotta be a damn painful experience. My .02 and be good to the knees, you only get one good set.
