those are good articles, thanks.

W/o claiming expertise or anything, I have to say the articles sum up what I learnt from years of (practical) MA training and occasionally getting beat up. I especially like the deception part.

I recall a video by Bruce Lee advocating the use of the longest weapon (kick) to the nearest target (the opponent knee cap), biting, and other "quick fix." The man learnt a lot in his life, from boxing to fencing. I've always wondered if he also looked into the WWII-originated training, or should those practical techniques come naturally if you apply enough common sense to the scenario?
