The cynic in me thinks that there is an alterior motive involved here. I don't think the call to service is a noble one but an admission of the fact that power in Iraq will come from whoever controls the police and miliatry.
They have tried the terrorism route and it hasn't worked so now they are trying to fill the police/military ranks with terrorists who are willing to do others bidding. I wonder if I have become to cynical for my own good.....
