I started with an M4 and removed the carrying handle.

I placed a Mark Brown custom Flat top mount on the rail. This system has a standard A2 rear sight on the rear of the rail system.

Then I placed an Aimpoint CompM2 on the Mark Brown system.

This is a great general purpose system - even when the batteries die - which is probably when I'll need them the most - the iron sights and zero are still there.
