DVT's must be addressed....

This thread is 16 y/o. My condition: Over that time period, DVT has been addressed several times, directly via surgery, and indirectly via a regimen of meds, or both. Throughout all of that time, the DVT condition has never been fully resolved or remedied because there is no remedy; there is only maintenance: Surgery and meds. After spending the last 3 Months in the hospitals of the University of Penn and NYP/ Cornell, I can attest that this is absolutely true. Although my surgery was 100% succsseful, removing all blockage in both the left and right legs, I contracted a VGI, Vascular Graft Infection, while undergoing the September 20th surgery. Making the past three months challenging with 60+ days in Hospitals. Current state: DVT in both legs, removed. Weight: down 50#. State of mind: get to live again, rethinking the future.
