Hello everyone. My name is Francine. I am the daughter of Msg William L. Smeltzer. He was SF for 27 years (1962-1989), MACSOG CCN and Project OMEGA in Vietnam, stationed at Ft. Bragg, HQ USAEUR in Baden Baden, Huntington Beach (as recruiter), Ft. Devens, Bad Toelz, and ROTC at St. Bonaventure University.
I'm hoping to connect with anyone who knew him or served with him. I want to preserve his history for the family. He passed away in 1992, when I was 17. Most of his kids were too young to really remember him, and he never met his grandkids. I would love to have some stories to preserve for them.
