What I've noticed is that LInkedIn is really nothing short of "Facebook" for people that have to pretend to be valuable corporate assets.
Some of the absolute horseshit I've seen on LInkedIn serves as pretty good example of "how to become unemployable"

When I saw people that I had served with start to put their pronouns in their LinkedIn profile - I relaized that aMer1Kan cUltuRe had turned a corner.

There really is no such thing as "unemployable" any more.

You got a septum peircing and neon blue hair?
No problem, there is someone waiting to hire you as an activist.

You've got unintelligible Asian handwriting on your forearms that "dont mean what you think it means"
...somebody is waiting to hire you as a protestor

You feel the need to put your pronouns on all of your social media as well as the top of your resume?
...no problem, there is a political campaign just waiting to hire you to do cold calls

You have some other wild and crazy degenrate social habit?
...no problem, there is a lawyer drooling to take your wrongful termination suit against "Big Industry" no matter how ridiculous your claim as long as they get a cut of the settlement

Risne and repeat
