Is it because violent ground acquisition games such as football are in fact, a crypto-fascist metaphor for nuclear war?
Or could it be that pro sportsball is controlled and dominated by a systemic and toxic patriarchy with a goal of abusing their privilege and refusing to extend an equity of outcome to those that feel the need to validate their individual self worth at the risk of causing a detriment to an otherwise gender-neutral but goal oriented outcome?
