24 Year Leech Rep. Ron Kind is Retiring

Unexpected, but I'll take it.

There is already a fairly competent campaign (this time) being run by an R and this leech calling it quits can't hurt. He always got to vote yea on the feelzy good stuff, but he was Mistress Pelosi's little water boy for whatever she needed when she cracked her whip. (Maybe she changed the 'safe' word on him.)

The shape of his district that favors leftists just a slight amount is an issue, but we'll see. (Funny how it's the Dems here that are always screeching about Gerrymandering and drawing "fair maps." The D's might've created some real race-to-the-bottom optics in the past year though, and the district elected Walker 3 times and Trump twice. Kind had a district that was an "octopus" covering large swaths of agri and small biz and really middle-class folks that wanted to be left alone EXCEPT FOR the tips of the arms of that octopus that all touched larger wannabe-Seattle cities, with a UW campus sited in them. I just KNEW that once that f'n Starbucks came across the river that was it...

He is a perfect example of a "survivor" who brought nothing of substance.
May he walk out onto the ice, a burden to the village no more.
