My wife and I were hiking on Palomar Mtn. and walked up behind a large male standing across the trail. My first thought was that I had a backpack with salami and cheese on my back. That was the longest 3 or 4 minutes of my life. I could handle a
cougar but my wife wouldn't like it . . . unless it was a life threating situation, of course.
