Regimental Supper
They never had the supper when I went through, not yet a Regimant.
The 1st I went to was when I was a 1SG at Training Group. The company that had the graduating class was responsible for the set up. I thought it was a nice touch to the end of the course.
Under one of the many reorganizations of the company formations we ended up with all MOSs in each company, right before they moved each MOS into it's own company. Cpt Foxx was the TAC for the 18As. Whenever AB came to be the guest speaker an officer was detailed to be his escort. Well, AB came to ours and as such our good captain was detailed as his escort.
It was a great honor to just stand next to AB and to be his escort was considered way up there. The one thing Cpt Foxx feared was that AB would die while in his care. To who-ever that happened to, he would be a marked/known man.
have no fear, AB went on for many more years. Causing an untold number of officers to pray "Not on my turn".
May he Rest In Peace.
