I would sit down with the recruiter to talk about the bonus and rank, if it's an important part of your enlistment. Go to your recruiter and get the contract, take it home and read it well. Write down your questions and take them back to the recruiter. That's the only way you're going to get what you want or understand what it says. Just don't sign the contract until the recruiter is there to witness it.
In the mean time, get your body and mind ready.
