I found this site while looking doing research for the latest and greatest methods used by professional soldiers to carry their medical gear, pack their aid bags, etc. I have been in the California National Guard as a 68W since December 2008. I have been the senior line medic for a mechanized infantry company and now for a dismounted cavalry troop.

In my full-time job, I am a Law Enforcement Officer in southern California. I teach TCCC within my department. History is my biggest passion besides tactical medicine.

Anyways, I am not a member of the SF community and have no intention of being one (unless you count SWAT) so my contributions will be few if any. I came to this site to learn from the experiences of this nation's finest warriors in hopes that I can apply some of your hard earned knowledge and wisdom in my service and I appreciate all the great information I have obtained thus far.

Years ago while attending Shot Show I had a former marine that was LAPD SWAT tell me: "We can do anything Special Forces can do." I just wanted to ask him if he put on his Big Boy Pants all by himself that day or did someone help him?

Another, wiser, Special Forces soldier on here looked at me and said: "Leave it." And that was that.

Welcome aboard.
