To whom it may concern,
My name is Cullin. Born and bred of Nuevo México.
I'm well traveled and a fan of new cultural experiences.
I have just picked up a 35T active duty contract with option 4, leaving for basic training in May. I look forward to the experience and the challenge.
I am enlisting because, first and foremost, working full time and attending school with no direction was not something I was satisfied doing. I will very much prefer this path and the ability to give back to my country.
For years I have wanted to go 18x and see if I have what it takes to serve among the best America has to offer. Army SF is an unparalleled organization with a focus on so much more than DA.
I grew up during the GWOT, which vastly impacted my perspective as an American youth with the opportunity to spend a year in Europe in 2005.
The information regarding the approach of SF (force multiplying, hearts and minds, etc.) struck me immediately. Understanding your enemy is a key to successfully defeating them.
I digress. I will simply add that I very much hope to pursue a slot at SFAS in my Army career and that I appreciate all the information I have found here.
