As to wearing it with a Suit and Tie...what's that mean?   OK, I recently tucked it with a t-shirt just to try it and it's fine. I could even fluff out the shirt at the waistline to help hide it. A tucked in t-shirt looks funny, but a dress shirt would be fine.
And as ABC_123 said, it's extremely comfortable.
ETA: I just measured mine and the waistband length is 8 1/2".
