First off, I just wanted to thank you guys for hosting this site. I've been coming here for years now, and honestly, it's the only site I visit every day.
As for me, presented with the option of joining the Navy in hopes of becoming an aviator or staying home with the girl I hoped to one day marry, I chose the latter. Twenty years later I'm a software architect and we're raising our family in the California bay area. Probably the only good thing I can say about the majority of the people in my industry is they scare easily. Like the first time they approach me and see the hand loaded (dummy) rounds strewn about my desk.
