Gentlemen,

First thanks for operating this community, it is truly invaluable.

Briefly, about me and how I arrived here.
I graduated with a BS in Biology in May of 2013 and shortly after submitted an OCS packet with the USMC. First class was reserve only, so I declined, and my second opportunity I was not selected. Finally I was selected and shipped to Quantico in Jan of 2015. During in processing a discrepancy in my application was found and I was sent home an encouraged to reapply.

I was frustrated beyond belief but began the necessary waiver process. It was during is time I again began exploring the 18X enlistment option, which I had explored prior to applying for OCS. To wrap this long story up, I followed my heart and today I reserved my slot for an 18X opening and ship to Benning on October 13th.

I'm glad to be here, thanks again.
