I'm the girlfriend of a former Green Beret who has passed away recently. As you all are to all of we free Americans, he was my hero as a soldier, and an important force in my life as a partner for many years. His active time was in the early 80s with Unit 555, and for the past 5 years, has been deploying as a contractor for the DoD.
It's two months today since his untimely death, and I'm happy to be here so that I can read and, I hope, learn more about Tom's motivation, his dedication and his drive as a soldier first, before all.
He was a very quiet man when it came to such things, and he is sorely missed.
