I did not do that because I did not want to see a profile in my medical records and was willing to do anything I could to do what I wanted to do. In my case, the problem was started by my right leg being shorter than my left due to a fractured hip. Following the same logic as the knee pain, when I fractured the hip, even though it hurt like hell and I fumbled around for about six weeks, I chalked it up to a bone bruise. When it healed it acutally resulted in a shortening of my right leg. According to the physical therapists I am now seeing for my latest knee adventure, one of the major contributing causes to that is the fact that the left leg has been taking up the majority of the stress and just went down. It also has caused a permanent curvature to my spine, herniated discs, and other associated maladies for which I am now paying. While I do not wish to bore you anymore with this, the purpose of this tirade is to tell you not be be stupid like I was and get someone to evaluate this now. Unlike fine wine, this crap does not get better with age.

Colonel Moroney, thank you for taking the time to write. You are right on why I haven't gone see a doctor on this. I didn't want a med record to keep me from attending SFAS. I will take Kyobanim & your advice about seeing a doctor.
