Wouldn't the Thunder Ranch in #3 be more expensive than the lightly modified 1911A1 in #1? A milspec Springfield with a reliabilty job by Ted Yost runs under $1200 total, the TRS is more like $1600.
Would you feel comfortable carrying a gun as tight as the Baer in the field?
