I've lurked here in the past because this is one of my big interest areas and I have a number of friends who came out of your Alma Mater.
My background is in the sciences and spent my adult career as a scientist/engineer in the Defense Industry mostly (C) work at the SBI and one of the lesser known ones. Interests are too many to list but Mil History is a big one and I always dig deep. Also been a shooter since I was five, sought out the best instruction I could find and began instructing with a good group in SoCal in the early 80s (Defense oriented all platforms, all levels). Very proud to have had a role on projects which helped you all out from Desert Storm on.
Though I've not "been there nor done that" I make a great cheerleader and believe that I have more knowledge about things in your realms of expertise than the average person - which is simply an explanation of why I am a huge supporter.
Also, I was thoroughly intimidated to write anything here but one of the admins sent me a terrifically nice welcome email which I still appreciate today.
