Damn RL, That was a GOOD burn, the thread went about 3 weeks. hell by that time, the pus shoulda been nonexistant. (but I'm no Doc, just saw and tended to aaaaaaaalot of sunburn). Good stuff though, when I worked in FL as a commercial diver, I relied on fresh aloe plants to heal the folks that came to visit.
Thing is, seems you are dumpin that burn on your wife. Now, I have smeared alot of sunscreen on females and myself at times....... will I MISS spots on my back...? You bet...! Will I on a female back? NO Fricken Way!! I aim to get very thorough

Point being, if someone is applying that stuff to your back....... THEY won't miss any spots... hmmmmm?
BTW, didn't the top of your feet get burned?
TR's advice was good, however to expound, need to use at least a 36 grit pad on that grinder. Does take the fun out of peeling off sheets of skin though.
