if the gun companies do not have the intestinal fortitude to completely arrest sales to these organizations, then the least they can do is stop giving these companies free-bates for their purchases. A political stand is the only economically and constitutionally viable option.

Ok I am calling BS here. This kind of statement is the same as saying all union members are democrats. The departments in
any state have no desire to institute a "police state". They are simply bound by the laws of that state and enforce those laws to the best of their ability. Yes there are potentates in PD's that use cops in photo ops to further their own agendas (I've seen it used as recently as the last election), but that does not mean that cops in general want to restrict the 2nd amendment! Moreover to generalize police officers as wards of the anti gun crowd funding their agenda with tickets is not only ridiculous but a general statement without research or forethought.
Please enlighten me if I have misconstrued your statement.
