I sent this thread and purchase info to my 84 year old father (77th, 1st, 6th, 5th, Tng Gp) and he said, "I don't think I need a knife" (he's also a retired cop and still carries).

Two days later I received an email from him saying that he'd faxed in his DD214 and is now in the holding pattern.

Hopefully he'll get the Yarborough in enough time to appreciate it. His health is failing .... he only plays two rounds of golf a week now.
