CSM-H - Yeah, I read this thread much later but I'm glad I did, thanks for the heads-up on the spring kit. I also had a bugger of a time getting the trigger group in with the hammer all lined-up until I understood to keep the trigger pulled back fully while inserting the group.Once that "initiation" was done I was able to slick-up the action some with my trusty whetstones and files. What a difference just cleaning up the sharp edges does. I do have a Lee's spring kit in my Colt SAA clone and like especially the wire trigger/bolt spring so I thought about the same kit that you just bought also for my Rossi. Now I'm glad I waited. I'm curious how your rig works on the range now with the upgrades.
I also tried the trick with using a dummy round on the bolt to keep the ejector in place while installing the lever and drift pin, nice trick.

BTW- I love the handiness and versitility of this thing and it's a nice match for my .357 Colt SAA clone. I'm looking forward to trying black powder loads also.
