I just completed my first goruck challenge and if anyone would like to shoot me a PM with questions that you may still have after some research, feel free. My experience with the grc was incredible- definitely a good time to be had.

Like alot of things in life though- It's not for you if you don't want it. From my experience as well as speaking with the Cadre it's designed for you to reach a point in the challenge where sooner or later you ask yourself if you want to be there or not and put out the work. And it's either grind your face into a log and a ruck and keep truckin' or go home. If all the research you've done is watch the videos keep in mind that they make it look easy because you just don't know exactly what's going to happen. Myself, I went prepared and worked on over preparing physically and it paid off.

But myself, just a regular civilian guy, I would say this experience has been priceless for me to see where my weaknesses are mentally / physically so I can be in better shape for more good stuff to come.

All summed up; you will surely put value to the montra "Embrace the suck."
