Late to the thread but hope your M92 issue is getting better vs. the other direction. Can I assume you've tried
this forum area of Shooter's Forum dedicated to the M92 and its clones?
I have one in 44 WCF (
aka .44-40). Sweet gun, but I did have to do some mild ejector work on it because it would beat that 44 WCF case up like crazy, ruining 'em for reloads - brass pretty thin at the mouth. And, yes, a bear in terms of detail stripping & re-ass'y.
Every one I've seen has a pretty stiff loading port; don't recall what the tweak is for that, but someone's got it somewhere. Too many cowboy shooters running these things. They do work in a bit but they are, frankly, meant to be pretty stiff. (You already know you need to be running it with vigor, like Walter Brennan is tossin' dynamite for you.)
I would be interested how this continues to develop for you.
Good luck.
