I'm not an LCP fan and they're not accurate (a very short range gun). Bad sights, heavy trigger, and short sight radius all contribute to the problem.
Can you hit a target at 5 or 10 yds? How are your groups at the short distances?
One suggestion is to find a mud bank and shoot at something (like a bottle). You should be able to see your impacts. Perhaps you're shooting over /under the target....???
