Front heavy as the devil, but taught me to hold strong and steady.
The forestock was only about 10" from receiver forward, most of the barrel was exposed and I learned to shoot with a close hand on the forestock. Actually worked to teach a very steady and comfortable offhand position.
My first shot gun was a Winnie wing master Goose gun. Did damage to dove at high, usually safe for them, altitudes.
