A strategy?
A strategy? First the US helped build the mujahideen. The ISI turn the mujahideen in the Taliban, in a since Things where going better after the invasion, then the decision to leave for Iraq, sort of letting down both Afghanistan and Pakistan turning up the heat becasue they had money now.
The US seems more a focus on short term partners who come and end up difficult to get rid off. Sounds like am American sitcom or TV drame.
Afghans can't hold the grounds, COPs or Bases we turn over to them. With their highers taking all the supplies and selling them on the street markets or to the Taliban. Taliban have more organization, Command and Control and support then the Afghan Gov't currently and it's Military.
2014 is going to be a hard year for all.
