In the past they have handled the majority of it, however with the advent of the 28th EOD Company (specifically supporting a Tier-1 unit) and other Army EOD companies slotted for specific SF Group support that is no longer the case. In addition MARSOC has EOD Techs assigned for support.

Also, all four Services are very capable of supporting SOF unit as required downrange.
