Like TR said above, there is a civillian version in 5.5" and 7" that are identical to the Y, but do not have a S/N or the Yarborough name on them. Chris Reeve does have leather sheaths for them. I have one and it is very nice.

I have carried mine and used it on camping trips. The Reeves have "re-built" a few that were virtually destroyed in IED attacks, crashes and fires. There is a process to go through with SF Command, but it has been done.
