The article talks a lot about the S&W M&P (.40). Also seems like they really want a firearm with an external safety (which makes the Sig Sauer and Glock unlikely candidates). As good as it would be, I don't see them going back to the .45
. If they do though, I will probably never be happier to have been wrong.
