Good stock of some reputable parts and components, as well as the cheap "flashy" gun parts. Decent prices for consumers. Guns have yet to arrive, but I imagine they will be stocked regularly. I'll have to ask if they are going to take orders or will only sell what they stock.

I assume they can do orders as they are likely catalog dependent by the two larger vendors for NC. Accusport or RSR are competitively priced well for guns and accessories.

Nice to see AAFES getting into this for the Army. The USMC for years has done this.

I wonder how they will accomplish the records checking outside the federal form? Anyone have any SA on this? Local check via the Provost Marshal, Commander's Signature, Med screening, etc?

Will they price match local competitors? May be a losing deal quickly if they do. Ed's in Vass is by far one of the most fairly priced that I've heard of, but mostly deals in used wares.
Vetting by NICS phone checks and CCW IDs probably.

You are right, the Marine Corps Exchanges have sold guns as long as I can remember.

Doubt if they will price match, probably an AAFES operated store. No deals on base really at exchange run facilities. During my career, I watched them ruin Clothing Sales, post gas stations, and the Class VI stores. If they ever take over the Commissary, I will have to stop shopping there as well.

Ed's new guns are mostly in the back or at a gun show. If you want something there you do not see, just ask.
