The Administration has been playing footsie's with the MB as late as 2009 when 10 members of the MB received official invitations to attend Obama's speech in Cairo, Egypt.

What kind of signal? In retrospect, I would contend that Obama was signaling to all our allies in the region... the Bus was coming, that Mubarak and previous US Policy in the region would be thrown under the bus.
