I just went out to get the mail before leaing to go tutor a high schooler this afternoon, heard the sound of radial engines, and looked up to watch a silver B-17 fly by at around 800-1000' AGL. A true bennie of living near the Addison Airport and Cavanaugh Flight Museum.

When I drove by the museum the other day, there was an F-105, a Mig-17, a C-7A, a C-47 in D-Day markings, and a CH-34 Kingbee parked on the inner ramp.
