No, but it would be a pleasant surprise. I keep a shred of optimism in my ruck, just in case.

May 15 is merely the solar calendar's anniversary of their so-called 'Nakhba' ("Catastrophe" in Arabic). Yom Haatzmaut (Independence Day, in Hebrew) is celebrated on May 14 if you are secular though Israel officially follows the lunar calendar for everything. Islam does not include leap years on their lunar calendar, so they track the secular date. The Nakhba is supposed to memorialize the loss of Palestinian [territory? autonomy?] to the non-Muslim citizens of the infant State of Israel.

As a concerned college student, I've been tracking the Boycott/Divestment/Sanctions movements and their "mock apartheid walls" and "checkpoints", plus or minus the odd bit of campus violence (Jumana Albahri, Jessica Felber, John Moghtader, etc.) and general obnoxiousness on Facebook and from other sources. They all like to use that date.
Yes, the threat is clear and the language is unmistakable. However, the credibility of the threat appears lacking in terms of willingness to leave the computer and go run around and throw stones outdoors... at least, from the view on top of my ivory tower. I'm certain ShaBak is working overtime, though. Finally, with the security barrier in place, Palestinians no longer have unimpeded access to important highways and major cities the way they used to. If they intend to meet their deadline, they better start thinking.... a process that is generally forbidden under autocratic rule.

I suppose that's true, though the lack of follow-up when duplicate pages popped up was... expected, if not happily so. Certain places on the Internet, most of which are cataloged at
http://www.knowyourmeme.com make me feel extremely pessimistic about humanity.
