If you think about it, when has France ever not been fighting? Since 1900, France has intervened militarily (either alone or as part of a multinational coalition) in China, Russia, Germany, French Indochina, French West Africa, French Equatorial Africa, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Chad, Sudan, Mauritania, the Central African Republic, Rwanda, Zaire/Congo, the other Congo, the Ivory Coast, Gabon, Djibouti, Somalia, Madagascar, the Comoros, Haiti, the former Yugoslavia and Afghanistan, to name a few.
