I am neither a medic nor a SF soldier. I'm just a support guy...with a RBBB. I will note however that I have NEVER felt any heart "hicups" or felt lightheaded.
Mine was discovered about a year ago at MEPS during the EKG exam when I came into the Guard. I was PNQ'd by the MEPS "doc" but after a thorough eval from a Johns Hopkins cardiologist (blood work, EKG at rest, stress test with all kinds of cool stuff hooked up, and then a 3-D sonogram of my heart immediately after running on treadmill).
I got a detailed letter from the Doc that I was healthy (RBBB is common in 10% of the population). I received a waiver from NGB and have a PHULES is 111121 (glasses).
Recently had an Airborne physical and the doc pointed out that my RBBB was a disqualification but I commented that I am absent of underlying cardio disease (credit to Surgicalcric).
The bigger question...why the heck would you want to go to OCS?
