Maybe it's because I'm not living in the States right now, but Daschle's name is not one that I hear very often anymore. Four years ago, I actually thought he would be in Kerry's spot right now. Hard to believe his Senate career is in trouble right now. He seems like a very low-key man, someone who is easy to miss. If he loses, who do you think will take his spot? Joe Lieberman? Can't think of anymore prominent Dems who aren't running for President or VP (other than Ted Kenne...no, let's not jinx ourselves
