Having lost so many friends since I've been in, as many others here have, I've found it hard to chose one brother to "remember" on a bracelet. A while back, NGB gave out metal "American Hero" bands to returning soldiers and families in the National Guard. Since 2005 I have worn one in rememberance of all my brothers who have given it all as well as those who still are alive to fight the good fight. With the exception of a few metal detectors and CT scans, it hasn't left my wrist.
