I am no Kerry fan but I'm not sure I buy the "M-79" story. That round is spin armed at a "safe" distance and the chances of hitting a rock on shore and taking a frag on the boat are very slim. It can happen but not very likely. I do have scars on my arm from an M-33 grenade I didn't throw far enough.
