Chris if you need 20rd mags for an AR platform, they are all pretty much the same. The receiver for the AR has had very few changes in the last 40 yrs.

You do not need VN era mags unless your collecting.

Look on AR15.com in the mags, parts & accessories section.

Or post to the WTB section. Explain what your intent is. You should be able to find used mags for close to 10 USD each.

If you ask for beaters, maybe cheaper.. You may luck out and fine used hulls without followers, springs, and base plates.. Would look better than blocks of wood..
