Another point to consider is that old literature from
Al-Azhar University pre-dates Saudi oil money (wahhabi influence), and Al-Azhar University is the oldest of all universities in the Moslem world. It was established in 971 A.D. by the Fatimid (
Shiite) dynasty. The Reliance of the Traveller was written in the 14th century, was [is] praised by Sunni & Shia alike, and it carries the endorsement of
Al-Azhar University, the
most respected authority in Sunni Islam - just a thought…
