For those who are considering painting their own personally owned bullet launcher... there are more specialized products out there that 'should be' much more resistant to the gun solvents,etc that we use to clean them.
Note, I have never painted a firearm myself. I do not know -personally-if these products are more resistant first hand than simple krylon paint. My personal guess... Hell yes.
Maybe Mr. Harsey could help as he deals with metallic finishes all the time.
