I got a PFC Engineer and a SP4 Communicator for my ODA out of SFTG during that time period - prepped them and sent them off to SFUWO ASAP so they could function with the team.
I think the SGT and 2nd enlistment criteria came about circa '85 or so when SF became a Branch.
BTW - '82 doesn't quite rate as being "Old SF Babies" for a number of us floating around in here.
