I actually have not done that in some time. The last time I remember being drunk was at the GABF in 2001. I ended up missing the tram back to the hotel and had to traverse LoDo all the way from like 22 & Blake down to 14th & Stout. While it is not that far of a walk and it was early October so it was nice and cool out, I somehow figured it was way to warm for pants. The fact that I woke up in my own bed at the hotel instead of in the custody of the Denver PD is still somewhat of a mystery. I actually think I had alcohol poisoning and spent a few hours that day in a dark cold room with a bottle of water and a bagel. Of course it did not stopm me from going back to the festival that night and having some more.
Now when I drink it is usually 2 or 3 and that's all. Of course most of what I drink is 8% so that is more like a 6-pack in terms of alcoholic content.
Edit- just remembered that we were smoking cigars that night. We spent part of the evening at The Falling Rock Taproom. It was probably those damned evil wicked cigars that did me in.
