Hey, lets not overreact.
When I review classified documents for source material, I always take notes and stuff them in my socks.
If I borrow a few documents, say, Secret Items A, B, and C, and I am reminded that I am not allowed to have them, I frequently return Secret Items A, X, and Z.
If the document referred to me and my previous boss, I see no reason at all to return them. After all, it might be used against me.
Of course, I would have to be a bottom dwelling Decmocrat for that to be acceptable behavior, but hey, it looks like they are out to get this guy. Lets get back on track with serious matters like whether the Veep used harsh language with one of his peers.
