"We've seen an increased number of arrests here in the U.S. of individuals suspected of plotting terrorist attacks, or supporting terror groups abroad such as Al Qaeda," Napolitano said in a speech in New York. "Home-based terrorism is here. And, like violent extremism abroad, it will be part of the threat picture that we must now confront."

We must NOW confront?????!!!!!!

Ok, now I'm really confused - didn't Janet from another planet state last Feb in front of congress that "I did not use the word "terrorism," I referred to "man-caused" disasters. That is perhaps only a nuance, but it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur".

So, are we back to the politics of fear, or has something happen that I missed? Are these not attempted "man caused disasters"?
